Huge shout-out to our amazing FBLA students who participated in Shop with a Cop this past Saturday! They showed up early with positive attitudes and servant hearts.. Cheering on participants, helping kids, wrapping gifts, and representing our school with professionalism and kindness. We’re so proud of the impact they made in our community.

LIA has had a busy month of service! 🎄
Our students have been hard at work wrapping the boxes that the Sub-for-Santa presents for CDJH students will go into, and we’re so grateful for the chance to help make the season a little brighter.
We also had several LIA students volunteer at our neighbor school, Crestview Elementary, supporting their Cookies with Santa event. From serving treats to helping kids with activities and crafts, our students loved spreading holiday cheer in the community.

Mr. Whittier teaches AP Human Geography, Utah Studies, and U.S History. This is his 11th year teaching, he loves water polo, and his advice is that the school of hard knocks has a high tuition.
Ms. Hobbs teaching CCA and FCS. This is her 1st year teaching, she loves candy, and her best advice is to smile.

Mr. Wadsworth's Creative Writing Class had the incredible opportunity to go to DreamWalk Park to learn more about the use of world building for their upcoming fantasy unit! The students had a great time and began sharing ideas about what they could do for their own stories.

Throughout the day, staff and students surprised them with balloons delivered one by one, filling their offices with color and smiles. Today, students and staff showed off their creativity by dressing up as all kinds of iconic pairs. From funny matchups to classic duos, it was so much fun seeing everyone’s personalities shine through their outfits. Thanks to everyone who participated and brought the energy!
LIA wrapped up Term 1 and celebrated National Hispanic Heritage Month by watching Coco and painting pumpkins! 🎨
